TAWANG - GUWAHATI
Upon arrival meet & greet with our driver cum representative and transfer to hotel at GUWAHATI . Check in hotel and over night stay.
GUWAHATI– BOMDILA Morning Check out from hotel and drive to BOMDILA visit tippi orchid certer ( Approx. 310 km and 7 - 8 hours drive). Arrive / check inhotel and over night stay at BOMDILA. NIGHT STAY: BOMDILA.
BOMDILA – TAWANG After breakfast drive to Tawang doing on the way sightseeing which covers Se La Pass (The Sela Pass more appropriately called Se La, as La means Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass located on the border between the Tawang and West Kameng Districts of Arunachal Pradesh state in India. It has an elevation of 4170 m or13,700 ft), Jaswant Garh war memorial, Nag Mandir, Horse Spring & Dirang Dzong (Approx. 200 km and 6-7 hours drive). Check in at Hotel. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Tawang
TAWANG SIGHTSEEING After breakfast indulge yourselves with the sightseeing of the serene beauty called”TAWANG". Today youll be covering Tawang Monastery, Handicrafts Hand loom (Saturday Closed), War Memorial. Evening enjoy light and sound show for the Martyrs (Who died in Indo – China war in 1962) in Tawang war memorial. Overnight at Tawang.
TAWANG - DIRANG After breakfast drive back to DIRANG ( Approx. 150 km and 4 - 5 hours drive). VISIT JUNG WATER FALL. Overnight in DIRANG.
DIRANG - KAZIRANGA After breakfast drive to KAZIRANGA (Approx 245 km and 6- 7 hours’ drive). Arrive/ check in hotel and overnight stay.
KAZIRANGA- GUWAHATI Early morning 5 AM elephant safari .After breakfast drive to Guwahati- on route visit Orchid garden / arrive Guwahati and over night stay.
GUWAHATI DEPATURE After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Guwahati Airport / Guwahati railway station for your departure to your hometown.
Visitors to Tawang district require a special Inner Line Permit ( Indian Citizens only) from the government which are easily available with us or you can apply yourselves in Kolkata, Guwahati, Tezpur, and New Delhi. For foreign country passport holders PAP (Protected Area Permit) is required which is also available with us or you can obtain the Protected Area Permit from, All Indian Missions abroad, All Foreigners Regional Registration Officers (FRRO) at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chief Immigration Officer, Chennai, Home Ministry, Govt. of India and Home Commissioner, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: March – June & September – December. CLIMATE: The warmest month of the year is July, with an average temperature of 17.0 °C. January has the lowest average temperature of the year. It is 2.0 °C. REQUIREMENT: Woollens and dry fruits or packed food. ALTITUDE: • Bomdila Pass 2,438 metres (8,000 feet) • Sela Pass 4,176 metres (13,700 feet) Starting of Tawang district. • Dirang 1600mtrs (4910ft) • Tawang 3,048 metres (10,000 ft) • Bumla Pass 15,200 feet (4,600 m) RESTRICTIONS: PAP (Protected Area Permit) holders are strictly prohibited to visit Bumla Pass ( The Indo - China Border). However, ILP (Inner Line Permit) holders can visit Bumla Pass with permit ( which will be managed by us).
